St. Paul Group

Congratulations to the St. Paul Super Cities WALK for MS Committee!

They put on their appreciation party for those people who helped make their 2009 walk a success. On September. 26, 2009 people flocked to The Hideaway Lounge in St. Paul to partake a wonderful evening of fun and entertainment.

Smitty's owner Doug Millar provided fantastic snacks and when the first set of bottles of wine ran out supplied more for the rest of the evening. He also donated $1.00 per drink ordered between 8-10 pm, this brought in $117.00 to the cause.

Ky Babyn found the entertainers for the evening, and a wonderful job he did. 1st up was Amanda Marcoux, who sang some of the songs she has written.

2nd up was Ben Sures, he also sang songs he has written. You can check out his web site, I enjoyed his songs so much I purchased his cd, which he signed and drew me a cute picture on. I also got one of his ray gun pins....the only one he could find as he had left the rest in Calgary.

And last but not least was Ky Babyn, who did an awesome show.

The top fundraising team was- MSAin'tPurdy who raised $21,000, they were presented with a trophy which they will pass on to next years top fundraising team.

Angie White and Darryl Gregory Communication directors from Division Headquarters came out and congratulated the St. Paul group on their success in the last two years. $93,000 was raised in 2009, altogether the St. Paul group has raised $155,000 in two years.
